The story
Gruzzy has existed since 2020 and does one thing: recruitment in
cybersecurity, information security, and privacy. Not a broad agency with a
security label stuck on, but a specialist who knows the market from the
inside.
Jesse Hendriks has spent ten years on niche recruitment for hard-to-fill
profiles, the last six of them entirely in cybersecurity. He knows the
people, the roles, and the companies — and he'll also just call to hear how
you're doing, no agenda.
Marc Hendriks spent more than twenty years building companies in staffing
and recruitment. He guards the business behind the scenes: agreements,
quality, and the long term.
What the name Gruzzy stands for
Gruzzy is a contraction of growth and buzz.
Growth — everyone should be better off for working with Gruzzy.
Candidate, client, and us. Financially, professionally, or personally:
the front doesn't matter, as long as everyone involved grows.
Buzz — being successful at what we do goes without saying. But
there has to be buzz too: things happen at Gruzzy, and working with us

How long has Gruzzy been around?
Since 2020, based in Amsterdam. From day one we've done nothing but recruitment in cybersecurity, information security, and privacy — no other field on the side.
What makes Gruzzy different from other recruitment agencies?
We do one field and know it from the inside. You don't get an account manager with a checklist, but someone who understands security roles on substance and tells you honestly where you stand — even when the answer is no for now. Candidates are only ever presented with their own consent.
