CISO / Cyber Security Manager.
As CISO / Cyber Security Manager you take the lead in shaping and rolling out a comprehensive cyber security strategy for a large international organization. You oversee the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, and you manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies to protect the organization's digital assets.
The cyber security domain you work in covers several areas, including CISO topics for IT, OT, product security and the SOC, as well as guidance and assurance and threat intelligence. You work closely with cross-functional teams to make sure the organization stays compliant with relevant security standards and regulations.
You lead a team of cyber security professionals and act as an important link between technical security work and strategic, organization-wide decision-making.
What you'll do.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies and policies
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential threats
- Coordinate incident response planning and investigate security breaches when they occur
- Lead a team of cyber security professionals and provide guidance and support
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure integrated security measures
- Monitor emerging security threats and adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, laws and regulations
- Develop, design and execute the corporate security strategy
- Own the vision of your squad or service pillar and set priorities to deliver impact and business value as early as possible
- Take responsibility for business value creation, including defining, prioritizing and accepting functional requirements (epics and user stories) in the squad backlog
- Take responsibility for budget planning (CAPEX and OPEX) and execution within your squad and service pillar
- Lead an organization that acts as a second line of defense
- Take responsibility for strategic workforce planning and drive career development plans within your squad or service pillar
- Actively coach and mentor team members
- Work together with internal and external stakeholders and peers to mitigate identified risks and bring them to an agreed and accepted level
What you bring.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 7 to 10 years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on strategy development, risk assessment and incident response
- A CISSP or CISM certification is required

For this role, the following experience and impact are typically expected:
- Extensive years of experience across more than one information security or cyber security domain
- Mastery of multiple corporate security domains and related business processes, built up through many years of experience across a wide variety of programs
- Deep knowledge of both processes and the newest technology relevant to your area
- Supporting multiple mid-size to large global projects, integrating architecture aspects of demand, specification, implementation and maintenance, and driving alignment and reuse of solutions and tools
- Experience in regional or multi-regional roles
- Acting as an influencer at strategic management levels, including internal and/or external leadership teams
- Role-modeling and driving participation and collaboration in mid-size to large multidisciplinary project teams or clusters of projects (5-10 FTE, more than €3 million)
