As a Security Consultant, you are responsible for advising on and implementing appropriate security solutions within the clients' Microsoft environments. You work together with experienced colleagues on complex security challenges and ensure that clients are optimally protected against current and future threats.
What you will do.
In this role, you advise clients on both a technical and business level about the security of their IT environment. Your responsibilities include:
- Advising on security measures within (Microsoft) cloud environments;
- Conducting security assessments and risk analyses;
- Advising according to the Pink Secure-by-design and Zero Trust principles;
- Implementing security controls within Microsoft 365 and Azure;
- Setting up Microsoft security solutions, such as: Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud and Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID Protection and Conditional Access;
- Monitoring the client's security requirements and preferences during projects;
- Following developments, trends, and threats within the security domain and translating them into practical advice for clients.
What you bring.
Pink Elephant is looking for a security professional with a solid technical foundation and an advisory mindset.
- A completed degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a comparable field;
- Experience implementing and managing security and compliance solutions;
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks, such as NIST and CIS;
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra, Defender, and Intune;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain complex matters;
- Certifications such as AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, and SC-300 are a plus;
You work in a structured manner, think in terms of solutions, and remain calm in dynamic environments.
