Dignitas IT Security Consultants is a specialized business unit within Dignitas, focused on privacy and information security. They help SME+ organizations in the Netherlands increase their digital resilience and manage security risks. Your role.
As a Senior Information Security Consultant, you help organizations work securely and in compliance. You work at leading companies in transport, retail, healthcare, education, and government.
What you do.
- Advise and guide organizations in improving their information security.
- Coordinate security and privacy processes, including risk management and compliance.
- Implement security-by-design and privacy-by-design in information systems.
- Develop and implement policies and measures for information security (such as ISO 27001, NEN 7510, or BIO).
- Organize and deliver trainings and workshops on security awareness.
- Act as CISO or Security Officer as a service for clients.
- Guide colleagues on projects such as internal audits, information security baseline assessments, and ISMS implementations.
- Serve as an advisor and sparring partner for the management team on product development and further professionalizing the organization.

What you bring.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, (cyber)security, or business administration.
- At least 5+ years of relevant work experience in information security, including at least 2 years as a Consultant.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, NEN 7510, or BIO.
- At least one of the following certifications: CISM, CISSP, CISA, or CRISC.
- The following skill set: proactive communication, persuasiveness, self-starting ability, eagerness to learn, and curiosity.
- Fluent command of the Dutch and English languages.
Not everyone has all the certifications, and Dignitas understands that. Through the Dignitas Academy, you'll be supported in obtaining additional certifications that fit your growth path.
